I left Denver traveling towards Wray for what I considered a "business trip". I left Northeast Colorado feeling like a "genuine local". Everyone is so down to earth, welcoming and friendly. I haven't laughed so hard in years! I know I have made friends for life and found my "home away from home". Oh Northeast Colorado...what a breath of fresh air! Just can't wait for that next "business trip"
Prairie Chickens...here I come!

The majority of greater prairie chickens are found on private lands in the Wray area, so public access for viewing these birds is not readily available. For that reason the Division of Wildlife's Watchable Wildlife Program offers prairie-chicken viewing trips on several weedends in March and April each year.
