I left Denver traveling towards Wray for what I considered a "business trip". I left Northeast Colorado feeling like a "genuine local". Everyone is so down to earth, welcoming and friendly. I haven't laughed so hard in years! I know I have made friends for life and found my "home away from home". Oh Northeast Colorado...what a breath of fresh air! Just can't wait for that next "business trip"

National Radial Engine Exhibition
Colorado Plains Regional Airport, 1/2 mile north of Akron. Second Saturday of September. Static exhibition of radial engine powered aircraft from the 1920's through 1950's. All sizes of military and civil aviation represented. Fly-in visitors are encouraged. Also in conjunction is an antique, classic and muscle car show, and a WWII re-enactment. Admission is only one dollar! Exhibitors Welcome, Food Service, Camping is free, On-site parking is free
